Welcome to Store Bought Mama aka Fat and Not Afraid

My name is Jennifer and I'll be your blogmistress today. This blog started over 10 years ago as a fat and body acceptance site dedicated to my ramblings on the subject, as well as politics and pop-culture. Lately I find myself writing more about parenting so I’m changing things up quite a bit. I decided to rename this space to Store Bought Mama because I am not a crafty type. I’m usually harried and stressed trying to remember things like sending in the pizza money on time or the permission slip or sometimes even what time I work at. I am a disorganized mess so Store Bought is just fine, thank you very much.

 A little bit about me, in no particular order; I'm a proud Canadian, bisexual, and together with my husband we have a beautiful eleven year old boy, Gabriel, and darling five year old Katherine. I'm a practising Wiccan and am proud to call myself a feminist.

Comments aren't moderated because honestly, I don't think it's necessary, but if it should become necessary I wont hesitate to do it.  Be respectful and you'll be fine.  Content will range from fat acceptance and health at every size politics, science, debate and just general commentary to posts about geekery, parenting and anything else that strikes my fancy.
